North Pennines

A short cycling trip during half term holidays, October 1978, riding towards the North Pennines from home with school friend Mark Bell ("Dinger"). We stayed at Edmundbyers hostel (two nights) and Acomb hostel and rode 140 miles in 3½ days.

We didn't have a camera so the photos are from contemporary sources. Most are from Geograph, licenced under the Creative Commons cc-by-sa/2.0 licence.
