Scottish Borders
August 1979
A cycling trip made in August 1979 around the Scottish borders with school friend Mark Bell ("Dinger"). We stayed the first night at Northfieldhead Scout hut near Alnham, Northumberland and then at youth hostels: Melrose, Snoot (near Hawick) and Byrness. We rode 260 miles over 5 days.
The photos were taken on a Kodak Instamatic 126 camera. Additional shots are from Geograph and licenced under the Creative Commons cc-by-sa/2.0 licence.
