Scotland
A cycling trip to Scotland in July 1985 with old school friend Mike Milburn. We took the train to Fort William and cycled to the Isle of Skye via the Mallaig ferry. It was raining on the west coast and the forecast was poor so we took the train from Kyle of Lochalsh east to Aviemore (via Inverness) and then cycled south to Perth. It stopped raining but we never saw the sun.
We stayed at SYHA youth hostels: Glen Nevis, Garramore (near Mallaig), Broadford (on Skye), Tomintoul, Braemar and Stirling.
